Welcome! I’m Linda (she/her), a student counsellor, and I’m so glad you’re here. I identify as cis/het, neurodivergent, disabled, and a racialized settler, and I’m a second-generation immigrant from Hong Kong. My intersecting identities and lived experiences with trauma, chronic pain, and traumatic brain injury deeply shape my perspective, cultivating empathy, compassion, and a strong commitment to anti-oppressive, culturally humble, and affirming practices in my work. I recognize the privileges and oppressions tied to the intersections of my identities, and I approach each therapeutic relationship with sensitivity.

I live and practise on the stolen, ancestral, and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh) nations. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and am currently pursuing a Master of Counselling at City University of Seattle.

Having been a client myself, I deeply understand the importance of safety, trust, and pacing that feels right for you. I see you as the expert of your own life and am dedicated to spotlighting your unique lived experiences. My approach centres on meeting you where you are, honouring your inherent strength, and navigating the therapeutic journey together with curiosity and authenticity.

My integrative approach incorporates various clinical models, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy, Somatics, Parts Work, and Attachment Theory. I am committed to providing 2SLGBTQIAP+ affirming care, and my experience includes additional training in supporting queer and trans folks.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with animals, exploring art galleries, paddling, and other outdoor adventures.

It’s an honour to support you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery. Together, we can create a safe and empowering space where every part of you is seen, heard, and valued.
