For those who experience financial barriers, are surviving, and cannot access financial support from their community.

Our Sliding Scale rates are not fixed and are open to discussion.

For those who are financially stable, have some discretionary income, and/or have access to financial support from their community.

For those who are financially thriving and have discretionary income.

Additional funds above the standard rate will be used to subsidize fees for community members experiencing financial hardship and receiving Sliding Scale services.

  • have medical expenses not covered by extended benefits or MSP;

  • receive or are eligible for public assistance;

  • are an elder with limited financial support and/or an unpaid community organizer';

  • have immigration-related expenses;

  • are denied work, unemployed, or underemployed not by choice; and/or

  • would not be able to afford to pay higher rates.

  • can comfortably meet your basic needs;

  • own the home you live in and/or vehicle (or your family does);

  • have investments, a savings account, retirement accounts, or inherited money;

  • travel recreationally and purchase new items for yourself occasionally or regularly without it being a financial burden;

  • work part-time by choice or don’t need to work to meet your basic needs;

  • have a relatively high earning power and/or experience privilege on the basis of gender, race, ability, and/or social class;

  • have access to resources and financial support from people in your community if needed; and/or

  • want to support folks who experience financial barriers to access services.

By offering a sliding scale rate structure, we are doing our part to acknowledge that financial barriers often prevent individuals from receiving the support they deserve. As we commit to providing services that acknowledge the structural powers that cause us harm, using a sliding scale allows us to both draw attention to financial barriers while encouraging accountability from clients who are currently in a secure financial situation.

Please note that our sliding scale payment structure is not a sale or discount. These rates should be revised whenever a shift in economic access happens for the client.
