Bio
I am committed to creating an inclusive space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they explore new possibilities for growth and healing. As a first-generation Canadian born to immigrant parents, my understanding of wellbeing has been shaped by navigating multiple cultural contexts and navigating how identity, neurodivergence, invisible disability, and oppressive systems influence the ways we move through the world. Our intersectionalities shape how we understand ourselves and what we believe is possible. Before becoming a counsellor, I spent years as a teacher supporting young people through life transitions and societal demands in outdoor and post-secondary settings.
My approach is individualized, trauma-informed, and guided by curiosity and collaboration. I am committed to creating a counselling space that honours complexity, welcomes feedback, and supports clients in exploring their experiences within the broader contexts of their lives.
Alongside remote (online) and in-person sessions in Vancouver, I offer nature therapy in Squamish. We can connect on these lands because the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh peoples, whose deep, ongoing relationship, knowledge and advocacy has been relentless since time immemorial. I aim to support clients in connecting with the wisdom of nature; just as ecosystems thrive through interconnection, I believe our wellbeing is shaped by the relationships we hold with ourselves, with others, and with the natural world around us.
